Careem publishes exact sizes for item and hero images, plus an unusual rule: a minimum file size, not a maximum. Here are the numbers, how to submit photos, and what Careem does not publish.

Specs checked against the Careem Food partner FAQs (UAE) in October 2026. Careem does not state the ratios in words. We worked them out from the sizes.
Other delivery apps usually set a maximum file size. Careem sets a minimum: 1 MB for both item and hero images.
A 1200 x 1200 JPG saved at low quality can fall under 1 MB. So export at high quality from a large original.
Check the file size before you submit. Do not upscale a small photo to reach 1 MB. It will look soft.
