8 Best Tools for Google Business Profile Food Photos
Checked October 2026
MenuCapture is our product. We put it where we think it fits. Check each tool yourself.
MenuCapture, our product, is our pick: it edits your real photo from a typed instruction, and its Google Business Profile photo resizer, a free tool with no account, sizes the file to Google's guidelines. For quick free fixes on a phone, Google Photos and Snapseed both work.
Google's rule: keep it real
Google asks for JPG or PNG files from 10 KB to 5 MB, 720 x 720 px recommended and 250 x 250 px minimum. It also says photos should "represent reality", with "no significant alterations or excessive use of filters".
So keep edits light. Fix the light, color and crop, and keep the dish as you serve it. MenuCapture edits your real photo; check each result against the dish before you upload it.
